Ferdi Kayakesen
Founder | Managing Partner
Ferdi shares overall leadership in the firm. He is an accomplished investor and entrepreneur with over 15 years of relevant experience working with founder/owner operated SME businesses. Ferdi is involved in all investment activities, including the sourcing and closing of portfolio company investments. He is also Chair of the Investment Committee.
He serves on the board of directors of numerous companies and brings experience evaluating and implementing organic expansion opportunities and acquisition-driven growth initiatives. Prior to Corner Capital, Ferdi spent 15+ years in senior roles across Private Equity, Structured Finance, Asset Management and Investment Banking.
Alongside his role at Corner Capital, he also holds the role of Partner – Private Equity, Corporate Finance and Strategy at BG Private, where he advises SMEs and their boards, turning over $5-200m.
He commenced a Bachelor of Engineering at Monash University (Clayton) in 1996 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in 2003.
