Brodie Leahy

Brodie is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, cultivating relationships with industry-leading executives, and performing company and industry due diligence. He is also involved in assisting with value enhancement projects. Brodie is heavily involved in researching and analysing industries to identify investment opportunities.
His experience includes advising a number of owner-operator and family-owned SMEs on various organic and inorganic growth strategies, as well as exit planning and value optimisation.
Developed over almost 10 years, he has forged deep relationships with accountants and advisers all over Australia. Prior to founding Corner Capital, Brodie spent 5 years working with the financial adviser and accounting networks of Macquarie and IOOF, advising their clients on alternative strategies.
During his time at Macquarie, he also played a key role in originating, structuring and executing $100 million worth of investments across a range of sectors and markets whilst managing key stakeholder relationships.
Brodie also helped Dukes Coffee grow its wholesale and retail sides. This included expansion into Western Australia and Sydney, overseeing due diligence, and negotiating terms with the various parties. Brodie remains close to the business and still advises the founder on a regular basis.
In 2012, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business from RMIT.
